Send Your Idea To The MythBusters

Are you a fan of the uber geeky and cool show MythBusters? If so then here is your chance to send them some of your ideas. Adam and Jamie are using YouTube (as in the video above) to reach out to their fans and ask for ideas for the show. You can reply to the video above or in the MythBusters forum. I think we should get them to test the myth that WiFi access point cause harm. Alright, so it’s not a myth, but it would shut a co-worker up who drives me nuts on a daily basis about how back WiFi network are for your brain.

    HEY ADAM AND JAMIE! I AM A HUGE FAN OF YOUR SHOW. IN FACT, I WAS WATCHING IT YESTERDAY (MAY 4TH 2010) THAT WAS WHEN YOU REVISITED SOME MYTHS LIKE IF SALAMI COULD BE USED IN A ROCKET, AND IF A SWORD COULD CUT THROUGH A WORLD WAR GUN BARREL.

    I watched the one where you were trying to get sks to fire . I like a system using eights and ten rather than bigger speakers . they give more of a punch rather than a vibration also i would place gun facing forward

    Hey guys from downunder, love the show, been a big fan from the first rocket car. I've got 1 for you if you can/dare. I'm a big tank buff and 1 story i've read about ww2 tells of the inability of the sherman tank to penetrate the german tiger tank. The story goes that at least 1 time the sherman tank gunner managed to BOUNCE an armour-piercing round off the ground and into the weak bottom armour thus destroying the tiger. Don't know how to test it but it would be an awesome episode.Email me if you have a go at it.

    Dear Mythbusters

    Hello my name is Courtney Christian and I was thinking what would happen if you were in an eleavator and the cable/line snapped and you were falling, but right before you crash you would jump about a second before, would you still get hurt just as much as if you didn't jump? P.S I really love your show, you people rock!

    Does it really cost more to heat up a house after turning off the heat vs keeping the temperature even?

    If so, then is there a certain temperature difference that turning off the heater would be better?

    For the experiment, use your workshop. Keep it at 75 degrees for 8 hours a day. Turn the heat off after hours and weekends. Then do another experiement and keep the temperature at 75 degrees all the time.

    i have heard of an unbelievable myth that someone was chugging a beer and put so much pressure by sucking that the bottle implodes and glass goes down their throat and kills them….can a bottle really implode by applying so much pressure inside the bottle

    I just watched both duct-tape episodes and I was wondering if it was possible to make a duct-tape trampoline??? I was also wondering if you could make a bridge big and strong enough to drive a car on it??? Hopefully you can make another episode about duct-tape!!! I love your show!!!

    long time fan, you may have done something silmilar in another episode about movies and whatnot but I’m so sick of seeing people in movies shoot locks or chains up close or from a distance and break them off or open, is that even plausible? Love to see an episode on it. But a fan to the end anyway. Thanks guys.

    There is a myth in a lot of Central American countries and Mexico that says that if you give someone watermelon while they have a hangover or they are drunk it can kill the person. I think that it isn’t true but a lot of people say it is so it would be awsome if you could test it. I think the myth comes from the effect of the chemicals of a watermelon on a drunken/hngover person. Love the show.

    The other standard test lights merely use the negative polarity as a fake ground.
    Myth: Does a car really have a ground? Can the Polatron-1 probe create a ground ?
    All my life thought negative was a ground OMG is this a myth?

    Hi, my name is Trevor and I want to know the following. Can you use your windshield washer to block the cameras ability to take a clear photo at an intersection. The other day I was driving with my Dad and he hit his wind shield wipers/washers and we couldn't see out, so I was wondering if you sprayed the wind shield when entering an intersection if the camera could take a clear picture of the driver. Will the water on the wind shield make it impossible for the camera to get a clear photo?

    First if you could protect yourself from a frag grenade explosion with someone elses body??? and second
