Send Your Idea To The MythBusters

Are you a fan of the uber geeky and cool show MythBusters? If so then here is your chance to send them some of your ideas. Adam and Jamie are using YouTube (as in the video above) to reach out to their fans and ask for ideas for the show. You can reply to the video above or in the MythBusters forum. I think we should get them to test the myth that WiFi access point cause harm. Alright, so it’s not a myth, but it would shut a co-worker up who drives me nuts on a daily basis about how back WiFi network are for your brain.

      Yes if you hit the nose cartledge in an upword motion hard enough it will slide direclty to the brain piercing it and severly damaging the brain and or kill you depending on how hard hit. The nose cartlidge is pretty much a free floating bone. I was curious about this years ago, and its actually tought as a no other alternative self defense move. I strongly recomend NOT testing this ” myth ” on any living thing and if furtherly interested research it under self defense moves

    I have a myth there are 2 versions of this myth but anyways it’s based in the 60s when woman put their hair up in those bee hive styles. A woman had her hair up like this and one day stared to complain of a headache. She went to the doctors a few days later and he took her hair down he found spiders living in her hair. The other version is that she complained of hearing buzzing and when the doctor took down her hair he found bees. Now my question is wouldn’t the hairspray used to hold her hair in place kill the insects and 2 wouldn’t she have noticed/felt the insects crawing in her hair? Please let me know! I’ll be watching for the results!

    i want to see if you could make a bullet out of ice.. like not the shell.. just the bullet it self.. if you it would make a great murder weapon.. and no im not a murderer.. i just thought cause once you shot them it would melt and there is no evidence besides a hole in the body.

      This one isn't possible, because the hot gasses that are expelled along with the bullet would melt the ice before it even hit your victim.

    At some point in every old cartoon, there is a chase scene in which someone runs straight through a wall leaving a perfect silohuette cutout of themselves in the wall. I thought it might be fun to test this outcome by running through a number of different materials at various speeds to see if there is a combination of speed and material that results in a perfect sillohuette cutout of the runner. I strongly suggest you skip brick, stone and drywall. But how about a wall fashioned of paper mache or styrofoam, or a wall molded out of soft packed snow, wet sawdust, stiff shaving cream, caramel corn, Rice Krispies Treats – whatever. Surely there exists some "wall" material that you can run through at some speed and leave a recognizeable outline.

    i have a myth…iv heard over the years that the first time you wash any type of fabric in a shirt that if you hang it up as soon as it is washed to dry after it dries no matter what you do after this first time it will not shrink……i have always wondered.

    If you take a loto mashine and put the balls in a order and time how long you let the mashine spin the balls and then see wich numbers come out and then do it agian the second time with the same amount of time spining and have the balls in the same order ,you'll get the same balls as the first try ?

    In the movie poler expres the train go's on ice a thin layer of ice but the train probly weighs a ton!

    My wife insists on making us use the dishwasher. I contend that the dishwasher takes more time and wastes energy. To use our dishwasher, we clean and rinse the dishes, load them in the washer, run the washer, unload the dishes and place in proper spot. When you hand wash, you clean, rinse, dry and put up. It saves time and energy.

    Hey MYTHBUSTERS I love your show. I am your biggest fan. A few shows that I thought were interesting were the bottle bash and the irish leather cannon, but I have a few questions for you. #1.The myth bottle bash has 1 problem, when you put the jello in the plastic case (skull) it made me and my dad think about all of the liquids,veins, and arteries in your head surrounding the brain. I want to know what would happen then. If you could mention that in your next show that would be great. Also the leather cannon, what if the irish had a metal plate at the back of the cannon? What would happen then? Thanks for giving me something to watch that I enjoy………………………………………………………….
