Newsgator Goes Free

Just after I spent some money on the new version of NetNewsWire and on NewsGator Go! for my blackberry, Newgator decides that it’s going to offer all of its RSS readers for free, as in beer.

Newsgator will rely on revenues from its enterprise offerings going forward (so big business, no break for you). The company will also increase their anonymous usage data in an effort “to help make decisions about what content will be most relevant for you and for other users.” Which translates to : We are going to see all of your data

On the flip-side, did I mention all of their stuff is now free?
