Google Street View Captures Blazing Home

Google street view has captured some interesting and wacky things since the trucks first hit the road to start snapping pictures of street views in major urban areas across the world but I don’t think I have seen anything as dramatic as this house burning in Sherwood, Arkansas.

I’m actually quite surprised that emergency services actually let the truck drive right close to the house while they tried to put out the fire. Let us know of any other wacky and embarrassing Google street view snaps you might have come across.

Anyone know the co-ordinates for this image?

Just type “Eagle Point Drive and Butterfly Drive” into Google Maps and it will take you right there.

It’s illegal to drive over a fire hose, which makes me wonder how Google got past the trucks.

It’s Google, they can do whatever they want.

Apparently Google was getting too many hits around this, or the owners asked to have it removed. All the streets around this location have mysteriously lost their names, and the street view is unavailable from any location with a direct view of the house. The burning houses address is 14 Butterfly Dr. Sherwood AR, 72129, home of B. E. S. Painting & Deco. Co.
