Some Actually Purchased The $999 App

Remember the $999 i Am Rich app that was pulled from the App Store? Well looks like someone actually purchased it.

Someone took a screen cap of the review section of the App and someone clicked on Purchase as a joke not remembering that they had 1click purchase enabled in iTunes. I wonder if this was what caused Apple to pull the app off of the store.

Once again I wonder, how the hell did an app like this make it through Apple’s screening process. Isn’t all of the hoops you have to jump through made to prevent apps like this one?

I think ole Lee5279xx should be stuck with that ‘useful’ app. Haha!

He made a mistake. He clicked the button, willingly, yet not with the intention of buying. A mistake. When I make mistakes I have to deal with the consequences. If I accidentally put salt instead of sugar in my tea I don’t blame the salt – I made a mistake. Hopefully I will be able to sort it out, if I am really stuck I might need someones help to sort it out, but I can not expect anyone to blame the salt.

So why is this blabbering person so set on getting a “joke” application removed? To me, and hopefully to anyone else with an IQ higher than their shoesize, it is clear to see that if you press buy you can not really complain to the seller if you buy something! Get the charges reverted, fair enough. You made a mistake. Rant about it on the internet? Sure, if you want to look like an idiot, go for it!

But why, oh lord WHY would anyone expect anyone but the one who made the mistake to take responsibility for what is clearly HIS mistake?
