Office 2008 delayed to 2008, shame

Looks like all of the Mac kids that use (or are forced to use) the Microsoft Office line of products will have to wait till next year for spanking new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Entourage.

Despite showing previews of the new Intel built Office suite at the 2007 Macworld convention this past January, they have had to pull the back on releasing the software.

I’m hoping that the reason the software is delayed is because of the lack of a really good ribbon bar, or God forbid, an even more annoying paper clip to bounce around and drive you absolutely nuts.
