iTunes 7.6 And Digital Copies

According to the site macrumors.com will are set to see the release of iTunes 7.6 during next weeks MacWorld. This one isn’t just going to be a bug fix release, as you can see from the picture above someone got an early copy of a Family Guy DVD which mentioned that he needed iTunes 7.6 in order to access the Digital Content on the DVD. It looks like we will finally see a legal (in my opinion it should already be legal to make backup copies of DVDs that you own) method of transferring DVD movies into iTunes.

Apple has already rolled out updates Mac Pro’s and XServe’s a full week before MacWorld. I wonder what big surprise Steve has in-store for all of us.
