Cinema Display Dock Patent
Looks like the guys over at Gizmodo have dug up a brand new patent from Apple that shows off yet another truly innovative design from the company. The patent application describes a modified Cinema Display with a slot that would house a portable computer (maybe the new slimmed down MacBook everyone’s been talking about?). The key to the patent is the idea that the laptop would be concealed by the Cinema display once docked.
It’s yet another brilliant design concept form the minds at Apple. If we don’t get a new ultra slim laptop at this years MacWorld the thickness of this design is going to be huge, but on the flip side it removes the need for a docking station and extra wiring. I want one.
