Apple TV Take 2 Is Finally Here

After drooling for weeks, Macheads can now get their hands on the new firmware for the Apple TV dubbed, Take 2. It features and updated UI as well as:

  • HD/Standard Def movie rentals
  • The ability to purchase items from the iTunes Store directly from the Apple TV
  • Flickr/.Mac photo browsing
  • Browse the iTunes Podcast directory from the Apple TV

This update is free to all current Apple TV owners so there is no need to rush out and purchase a new unit (Thanks Apple!)
