1000 Foot Wi-FI. Yes I said 1000 Feet!

Anything that can claim to connect via Wi-Fi from 1000 feet sounds like crap to me, but the Wi-Fire by hField can actually do just that.

hField claims that the Wi-Fire can increase your Wi-Fi signal by using a powerful internal directional antenna, a high sensitivity receiver and some software. If the device can actually do what it claims it could mean much better reception while you’re on the road.

Wi-Fire supports both Mac and Windows and will run you about $79.
