Turn An Old TiVo Into A HTPC

One of the toughest things about building a home theater PC is finding the right case, one that doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in your media center. This guy gutted out an old TiVo he had laying around and jammed in all the components required to get a PC up and running. He added a copy of Ubuntu running XBMC to finish off the project.

Doesn’t look like it’s that hard to accomplish and might just be the perfect weekend project for someone who is looking to either build a HTPC or remodel one they already have running.
