Build your own Camera light

light-on-nikon.JPG

With more and more point and shoot cameras having video functionality lighting can quickly become and issue. Now you could spend $60-$80 purchasing a light unit that slips into the hot-shoe or one that screws on the bottom, but why do that when you can build one for about $2. The guys over at ProdMod have a posted a very detailed how-to on building your very own camera light for cheap.

This baby houses 3 led’s and runs off a couple AA batteries and will last for 16 straight hours plus it provides a hell of a lot of light.
