If you are looking for a Linux powered machine that has an extremely small footprint and only drains 2 watts of power look no further. The Beagle Board is an embedded platform perfect for all things hackable. It’s based on the TI OMAP3 processor and comes with 128MB of DDR RAM and 256MB of NAND Flash all on a single chip.

In order to maintain both it’s small footprint and it’s low power consumption the board does away with thinks like an ethernet connection or wireless on board. It only comes with the bare essentials: DVI for video, SD/MMC for storage, audio in/out, and USB for any expansion like adding wireless or an ethernet connection.

All for about $150
