Mamebook – Macbook Arcade Cabinet

Got an old Macbook laying around? Why not make your very own cocktail arcade cabinet with it. Crafty hacker Frederic Sebton decided to do something with the broken Macbook he had laying around. He crammed the internals into an Ikea Ramvik sideboard and with a little finessing and hacking he came up with this great arcade cabinet.

He’s got a detailed diary of what he did on the mamebook blog with detailed picture and accounts of what he went through to put it all together. You don’t really need a Macbook to make this work, an LCD and a CPU is all you really need. But this is a great starting place if your interested in building an arcade cabinet.
