Think you’ve got the fastest time in Mario Brothers? Think your Madden skills are all that? Sure you can boast to all of your friends on the internets about your fame, but there has never been a method of officalizing your video game dominance. Until now.

The Guiness World Records company recently announced that they would begin releasing a “Gamer’s Edition” of their records books on a yearly basis, the first which should be available early February this year. The book will focus on completion times, gameplay elements, and sales records. Maybe all of those countless hours of mindlessly game play might just pay off and make you a Guinness World record holder.
