Zip Drives Back – Lord Help Us

Come on, admit it. You at some point had a ZIP drive, we all did. I can still remember transferring files via sneaker-net with my beloved ZIP disks in hands. 100 Megs, unheard of you could copy all of your stuff and still have room for even more stuff. Then came the click of death, the click that killed all of my ZIP disks. Well the company is back, this time with the Rev and it’s essentially a hard drive split in half. The head and operating mechanisms is in the drive itself while each re-moveable cartridge is nothing more than the platter.

They come in varying sizes; the one pictures above will do 250GB. I’m not going to hold my breath, any company that ruined my data isn’t gonna get my hard earned money any time soon.
