Vehicle-To-Vehicle Communication

Denso, a Japanese company that created a vehicle-to-vehicle communication system will start testing these units in April of this year.

The system is suppose to enable vechile interaction with another vehicle, exchanging this information over the UHF (699 and 679 MHz) frequencies.

There hope is to have cars talk to each other to improve overall road safety. Now if they could get the cars to drive themselves so that I can have more time to blog then i’d really be impressed.

    BMW has this as well in their 5 series. The cars tell each other if bad road conditions are coming up soon.
