USB Traffic Light

You can easily file this one under “Most useless USB gadget”. The USB traffic light is more than just a set of traffic lights (I sure hope so). Its exactly what I need, a reminder of all of the traffic I must deal with on my way home from work. Besides the frustrations you also get

  • 4-port USB 2.0 Hub
  • USB Traffic Light as status indicators (Busy, Out To Lunch, Available)
  • 10 Seconds Voice Recording and Playback
  • Monitor Cleaner
  • Memo Pad/Name Card Clipper

I’m not very clear on the monitor cleaner aspect, but if you have $25 burning a hole in your pocket it’s yours.

I could think of some usefull hacks.

    1) code it to tell you when you are done a task, IE downloading an ISO of a distro or after you have finnished doing a hiqh quality CD Rip thats unattended. You could use it and shut your monitor off.

2)Showing that login or internet access is disabled at this time for those teens that are waiting for the very second the parental controls kick out

    3) A desktop HUD for the case lights (Power, HDD, Network) so you can see them when your tower is on the floor or in a shelf.

    That desent include case modding

you wnat useless try the USB Stripper with pole.
