UNI – The Modular Computer

Richard Choi had developed a modular computer concept called UNI. In UNI, every important functional part of the PC is separated and broken up into individual modules. Whenever you want to upgrade your computer all you have to do is buy the required module and plug it in.

The designer has also named each module with an easy to understand name. For example, the “Think” module is where the processor resides. While the “Store” module houses the hard drive.

I love the idea of easy and simple upgrading, but with me leaving my power supply to my laptop at home at least 3 or 4 times a month I can only imagine how many times I’d leave the “Input” or “Store” module behind.
