Sugar powered batteries

Last week we saw the urine powered batteries now from one of the worlds largest battery manufactures, Sony, we see a battery that generates electricity from sugar. The device works off the same principles found in living organisms. Test batteries show the ability to produce 50 milliwatts – currently the world’s highest level of power for a passive-type bio battery. You’d need 4 of these to power you mp3 player or cell phone, but this could be a great advancement for people who have pace makers, convert carbohydrates directly from the body to power up your ticker!
