Star Trek Phaser to Control your HD DVD player

There’s a special offer going on right not where each purchase of a Toshiba HD DVD player will come with an original Star Trek phaser remote control. I can see all of the trekies right now debating on who will be the first alien character that they will phase.

There’s no official photo’s yet of the device, but I’m sure there will be endless discussions online as to it’s authenticity. Trekies world wide will begin the never ending battle as to which generations phaser is better and so on.

I just wish, no matter what it looks like, that I could set it to stun while I’m stuck in traffic. That would greatly improve my drive into the office.
