Ridiculouslty Expensive Ethernet Cable

I’m sure that their are people out there who are stupid enough to spend $500.00 for a 1.5 meter ethernet cable. I should have come up with this idea, I would have become rich in a matter of months.

Denon claims that using the old analog “signal fades over a distance of 5 feet” argument is the reason that people should drop $500 for a mere 1.5 meter cable. Are they retarded? How can defend that argument with a digital signal. Okay, maybe if we are talking about 100-200 feet then yes, but 5 feet for $500?

I just ordered a 100′ double sheilded RJ48 cable for my T1 interface and it cost me less than $100. Give me a break.
